After suffering from a pinched nerve which was caused by a slipped disc in my lower back area, I was in desperate need of seeking treatment for relief. After speaking to someone who had previously received treatment from Dr. Ernest Geid, I was convinced that I needed to meet with him. After one session of receiving the Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field (PEMF) therapy my left leg and lower back area had felt a huge sense of relief towards the end of that evening and into the following morning. From when I had first met Dr. Geid in person, I felt at ease and confident with his treatment techniques and the advice he had provided to me. I’m beyond grateful for finding Dr. Geid and at a time of extreme and debilitating lower back pain. After 3 weeks of continuous chiro and physio visits, I was still in agony, I couldn’t straighten my back, I had trouble walking and sitting was not an option. My first visit with Dr. Ernest Geid was years ago for lower back pain. Prior to seeing him I had multiple visits with RMTs, chiropractors and physiotherapists searching for healing and relief from the constant discomfort I was experiencing. Along with my lower back pain I was also experiencing a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders causing headaches. Just after 1 visit with him I noticed instant back pain relief and my head felt lighter and calm. With a combination of multiple techniques, Dr. Geid shows his compassion and expertise with every appointment. After suffering a concussion from martial arts training in 2022, I tried every possible therapy available. All of these therapies were beneficial and did help; however, I always felt that something was missing as my system never recovered as I expected. This led me to try cranial-sacral therapy. Thankfully I found Ernest and with his incredible knowledge and background was able to help me significantly in my recovery. I am a 47 year old woman who is currently getting my palate expanded using a MARPE device. Ernest is part of my care team, working to create space in my jaw joints to prevent and correct asymmetries as I slowly expand. Dr. Ernest Geid has transformed my life! I began seeing him 4 years ago after failed back surgery. I am a retired Senior Health Care administrator. My first visit I could barely walk, chronic pain, migraines, no sleep, I’d had 40 nerve block needles in my spine, 2 epidurals, physio, several pain clinics, saw 4 neurosurgeons, meditation clinic for chronic pain. I had hit total desperation. In Dr. Geid’s words I’m sorry you have been tortured. He was very honest “ I’m not sure I can help you but will try” Slowly after numerous treatments I started resuming my life walking, sleeping better and my quality of life has radically changed, laughing from crying. He is so sweet and patient. He would listen to my concerns and address them with one by one very quickly. He takes his jobs with pride and gives fabulous customer service. I came to him mostly because of stress so my back is always sore and tense. Since Osteopathy cares about the overall well-being, beside manipulate your musculoskeletal system, he would teach you how to relax, how to meditate, give you advice about how to be with the nature, then he would adjust his treatment according to your need. What a gem Dr. Ernest Geid is. His incredible care turned my acute back pain into relief and mobility within one visit. He is a practitioner that assesses you holistically, clearly explains findings and does not ask you to continue coming back for treatments beyond what is necessary. I found Dr Ernest Geid through searching for someone who specializes in craniosacral work and osteopathy as a treatment for migraine, back and neck pain. I felt immediate improvement in only 1-4 days after the first treatment which helped with spinal decompression, mobility, reduced pain, decreased migraine symptoms, decreased back and neck pain, overall improved sense of well-being, improved sleep, and ability to get through the work day in less pain. The benefits of Osteopathy and Craniosacral work are noticeable to me and I would recommend Dr Geid without hesitation. He is clear and communicative and kind with his patients. He is happy to explain each part of the process and consider a variety of options to improve health from suggested exercises to osteopathic treatment. In all honesty, I would recommend Ernest to anyone dealing with an injury including my family, if they want to experience immediate relief and healing. I was so grateful to get an emergency appointment on a Sunday after not sleeping for a few nights due to intense shoulder pain from a strain. Not only did Ernest make me and my family feel so welcome, the amount of attention, care and skill given to my injury is appreciated in ways I can't put into words. Started working with Ernest a couple of weeks ago to work on nagging back pain as well as stress and sleep issues. After a couple of sessions, there is a noticeable improvement. On top of this, and somewhat in an unexpected side benefit was sports performance, as an endurance runner I just ran the Beav Trail Race 50k a week ago and my body did not feel the impact as much as I would have expected and in other races that I ran before this event. If you are looking for an Osteopath, I recommend Dr. Ernest Geid. I started going to Dr. Geid for treatment of migraines and brain fog mid November. Last week was my 2nd visit but this time I felt ill and needed help with my head and facial pains. I told Dr. Geid about the migraine pain on the right side of my face but I didn't mention the left side jaw issue and the inability to eat without pain and crunching sound. Dr. Geid set to work and during the treatment I felt a change in pain level on both sides of my face...absolutely incredible. I felt so good when I left the surgery I went home with a Mr. Sub. My husband was dumfounded when he saw me eating and enjoying my food instead of drinking a Boost meal replacement like I had been doing the day before. What a turnaround. That evening I was able to go to the "All McCartney Live" show with friends and sing and laugh and smile without pain...whereas hours before I was going to give my ticket away.
